Kangaroo Valley Reggae Music Festival Returns With Roots, Rhythm And Really Good Beer.
Dust off your Bob Marley shirt and prepare or a day of bass lines, beer, and dancing – the Kangaroo Valley Reggae Festival is back at The Friendly Inn on Saturday, May 24, and it’s bringing all the good vibes. It’s like Sunday arvo drinks, your mate’s BBQ, and a Jamaican block party all rolled into one
There will be live music in the the beer garden from midday into the night. There will be markets stalls, Jamaican street food, island vibe markets, plus dance and drumming workshops for all.
This year’s festival is proudly supported by The Friendly Inn and Jervis Bay Brewing Co, who’ll be keeping the cold tins of coastal-crafted goodness rolling all day long.
THE LINEUP – A REGGAE ROOTS REUNION

King Tide
Rock steady royalty! A.R.I.A-nominated King Tide have played every major festival in the country and started their journey 20 years ago jamming at Bondi’s Beach Road Hotel. They’re finally bringing their soul-drenched reggae storm to the Valley.

Drop Legs
Byron Bay party merchants with a PhD in groove science. Their live shows are pure chaos-in-a-good-way, These lads have not played a live show in a while so be sure to check out their cheeky horns, and dangerously funky vibes.

Garfish
Sydney based instrumental reggae band led by trumpet player Nick Garbett.

Kopasetic
An energetic roots music powerhouse – dosing audiences with earthy rhythms and earnest messages over a melting pot of rock-reggae, soul, blues and folk music.

Nautilus Sound DJ
Darian Turner and Andy O’Phee, Dj’s and sound system presenters

The Lady Beans
The Lady Beans are based in Sydney and are 3 female Vocalists fronting a Reggae/Soul Outfit ready to give and get Good Vibes anytime, anywhere!!
