The Flying Daggerz Return to Rock the Valley at The Friendly Inn – October 25
If you thought The Friendly Inn couldn’t possibly squeeze another gig into this year—think again. On Saturday, October 25, the pub’s beer garden’s stage will once again host live original music. Sounds of the Islands rolls into town, bringing with it a lineup of smooth grooves, reggae rhythms, and soul-soaked R&B.
Headlining the evening is none other than The Flying Daggerz, back by popular demand after absolutely blowing the roof off the pub earlier this year. With their signature blend of roots, reggae and laid-back island vibes, The Daggerz know exactly how to get a crowd moving and grooving..
Joining them is the incredibly soulful Reuben De Melo, whose mix of indie-folk and R&B/ Soul n Reggae has earned him fans across the country—and a recent win on The Voice Australia. If that’s not enough to make you cancel your Saturday night Netflix & chill queue, wait until Rosie Belvie hits the stage. This Kiwi-born, Sydney-based singer blends confident Soul, Funk and R&B with infectious grooves that demand a dancefloor.
Rounding out the lineup is The Lady Beans, a powerhouse World Music/Reggae/Soul n Hip Hop 9 piece ALL FEMALE band whose reggae-soul fusion brings warm harmonies and big-hearted energy to every performance.
The gig runs from 7pm to 11pm, and tickets are $10. kids 13 & under are free—so bring the whole crew.
