Not only that but there is a raffle for each “race” winner! (Not races at all, just piglets ambling about trying to find a small tub of that delicious product KV is famous for: Milk.) Over the years, the event has evolved into a family-friendly day with market stalls, face painting and of course those pig races that started it all.

Kangaroo Valley Reggae Fest 2026
The Friendly Inn 159 Moss Vale Rd, Kangaroo Valley, NSW, AustraliaDust off your Bob Marley shirt and prepare for a day of basslines, beer, and dancing – the Kangaroo Valley Reggae Festival is back at The Friendly Inn on Saturday, May 16 2026, and it’s bringing all the good vibes. It’s like Sunday arvo drinks, your mate’s BBQ, and a Jamaican block party all rolled into one
There will be live music in the beer garden from 3pm into the night. There will be market stalls, Jamaican street food, island vibe markets, plus dance and drumming workshops for all.
